So we know it's really not our thing to comment on real #2 news, but so many people have sent us this Kony video and it turns out it's really fucked up.
Kony tries to act so innocent like, "Oh, I used to live in Africa with all the little birdies, and the little monkeys!" But watch this video and you'll quickly see that evil takes human form in Joseph Kony. Kony is a life ruiner. He ruins people's lives. Even the popular girls hate Kony. Share this vid with hashtag #BetchesHateKony and tweet @invisible, because child abduction and rape are never betchy.

“Oh, I use to live in Africa with all the little birdies, and the little monkeys!” LOL
Posted on — ReplyNot funny anymore
Posted on — ReplyGood move here
Posted on — ReplyHe literally has no purpose except to be evil and gain control over innocent children in Africa…... at least betches always have ulterior motives to benefit something. </3
Love you ladies for this. Very classy, truly betchy move.
Posted on — ReplyAgreed.
Posted on — Replybetches can be aware too ya know
Posted on — Replyi heart invisible children. this is so legit - thanks for bringing attention to such an amazing cause
Posted on — ReplyThank you betches.
Posted on — ReplyI personally dont plan on financially supporting invisible children. Heres why

http://www.reddit.com/r/WTF/comments/qlqcq/the_kony_2012_campaign_is_a_fraud/
Nonetheless, I agree this world would be a much better place without Kony.
Posted on — ReplyI was waiting to see if BetchesLoveThis did something about Kony2012. I’m happy to see this !
Posted on — ReplyThank you betches! And I have read the blog visible children, and though it has some good points (Kony is no longer in Uganda, the child army is not as bad as it was, etc), there is still no reason to NOT raise awareness. There’s no reason to not help out. We may not be politicians or be educated on the subject, but for anyone with a soul (betches still have souls, not gingers) this video is all the education we need. It’s nice to see everyone unite for a cause because those little Africans don’t deserve any of that!!
Excuse me while I hold back the vomit from my “nice girl” paragraph, but this was like, a fucking special occasion
Posted on — ReplyThank you for sharing this.
Posted on — Replyyou should know that only 32% of their money raised goes toward direct aid, the rest towards marketing and staff salaries and travel expenses. Also, this money goes to support the Ugandan military which isn’t much better than the LRA.
As the Visible Children blog will tell you, Kony has been largely inactive since 2006.
Here is a breakdown of IC’s expenses:

Obviously Kony and others like him should be stopped, but it doesn’t seem that funding another corrupt regime is the best way to do that.
Posted on — Replyyes
Posted on — Replyhttp://www.wrongingrights.com/2012/03/the-definitive-kony-2012-drinking-game.html
Posted on — ReplyYou’re missing the point.
Their point is awareness. “50% of our programming budget is utilized in bringing awareness to the situation and promoting international support of the peace process taking place. At the same time, there is a dire need for relief in northern Uganda, especially when it comes to the region’s youth. The remaining 50% of our budget provides top-notch programming for affected children and their families.”
Direct aid, while necessary, can’t be the only thing because what happens when the money runs out? They’re facilitating Ugandans helping Ugandans; building schools and creating opportunities for education.
Posted on — ReplyWhile Kony has been ‘largely inactive,’ what does that really mean? There were three abductions by the LRA in the past two days, two of children. Does that not matter because it isn’t one thousand people?
This is not a corrupt regime. These are concerned people spreading awareness.
The point of this campaign isn’t to raise money its to garner attention, arresting Kony sets a precedent. Also if the money goes towards funding trip expenses for the people who started this, they deserve it. Its daddy’s dime anyway.
Posted on — Replyis to raise awareness and educate the online community about a person who’s crimes against humanity deserve recognition and punishment, regardless of how “inactive” he may be at the moment. This organization is shining light on a much bigger picture and it’s not so much about donating money to help a single cause, it’s a movement for human rights.
Posted on — ReplyAttention isn’t going to do anything to help. There are already US Special Forces in Uganda. They got Osama bin Laden, but they can’t get this guy. But yeah, sure, watching a video is really going to make a difference.
Posted on — ReplyI thought about typing a long response to educate you on how much rhetoric and inaccuracies the visible children and reddit blog posts use to sway you to support their non-support,
but it’s black-out wednesday, and I’ve got places to be.
Basically, anyone can pick and choose facts and distort truths to get you on their side.
Just don’t be a dumb bitch, betch.
Posted on — ReplyThis is what I like about you betches, provide good comical shit to let me read while I pretend to work, then capitalize on the audience you have to make a difference. Betches run things and have the power to change things, hello, that’s our role in life. If we can’t make people listen to something like this, who can? #betcheshatekony
Posted on — Replythis guy is like Agent Smith from the Matrix. Something in him just says CONTROL ALL OF THE HUMANS!
and he’s beyond delusional
Posted on — Replyyour a real idiot fuck off and dont watch it then. negative fucker
Posted on — ReplyLess than 35% of donations to Invisibile Children are used to futher their causes, and a lot of their money goes to arm the corrupt Ugandan army. While Kony should be stopped, donating to Invisible Children should be reconsidered.
Posted on — ReplyYou literally may be the stupidest person to walk this planet. You’re right, getting congress and the rest of the worlds attention will do nothing. Go back to your minimum wage job and stop acting like you’re informed on the world.
Posted on — ReplyI’m confused why the Invisible Children’s movement against the LRA is suddenly so popular when it has been around for over 6 years and they have made 11 videos like this….. A little late on the bandwagon betches. Good job for watching a video, but why don’t you all grow up and educate yourselves.
http://www.foreignaffairs.com/articles/136673/mareike-schomerus-tim-allen-and-koen-vlassenroot/obama-takes-on-the-lra
Posted on — Replyit took ten years to get obama…but apparently Kony has been much less active in the past 6 years, trying to arrest him him for war crimes now is not going to do much. the other side of the conflict could probably be charged with war crimes as well.
Posted on — Replyobama is our pres, you mean osama
Posted on — ReplyBono already tried to make Africa a cool brand. Stop trying to make it happen. If you care about Africa why don’t you plan a trip there or give money to a group that funds healthcare or rescues children over there or something. Or *gasp* do some research next time your pro buys you diamonds or gold.
Posted on — Replyi think y’all are ignoring the fact that IC is donating the 32% of money they DO send to uganda to a regime that is just as corrupt as LRA. the ugandan military is also involved in child trafficking and rape, and while giving money to the military may lead to kony’s assassination it will not lead to safety of children.
obviously it’s up to each person to decide whether or not to support IC, and i could care less what decision that is, but i think that the video above does little to present a wholistic and entirely factual representation of the truth. i don’t care who you chose to support, i just think people should make that decision after they are aware of the facts of a complex situation beyond the ones presented in a single 30 minute video.
Posted on — Replylove how one link seems to change everyones mind. check their side too
Posted on — Replyhttp://www.invisiblechildren.com.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com/critiques.html
Okay so to be honest I’m too high (on life) LOL right now to normally give a shit but some of these critics need to shut the fuck up. Dear idiots who are trying to criticize American efforts to end a war on TERROR of Joseph Kony-
.......................... Not. <3
* Mmkayy.. so you don’t think spreading awareness is enough to possibly shift a revolution and put our thoughts of ruining a killer and stopping an army of brainwashed kids from shooting each other?! What the fuck else do you suggest we start with? If you dislike this well-thought out cause of helpful change why don’t you try making a difference in the world based on your “clever” NEGATIVE opinion! That is sure to get you super far
xoxo
Bye now!
Posted on — ReplyIC wants to use the Ugandan’s People’s Defence Army to bring down Kony. The UPDA is just as corrupt as the LRA, accused of murder, rape and child abductions. There can’t be a focus on one man - it’s an entire nation of instability and corruption.
Posted on — Replyshut up theyre trying to bring awareness to the issue. good for them for trying to help out people who would rather DIE than live on this earth.
Posted on — ReplyThe reason Americans and Europeans trying to raise awareness about issues in Africa and provide charity/relief/aid there doesn’t work is because Africans DON’T WANT OUR HELP, at least not the way we try to give it. American aid comes with American values and expectations that Africans don’t want imposed upon them. And all these problems in Africa today are ripple effects from the impact of colonization.
Posted on — ReplyThe people that founded this organization studied cinema production, structural engineering and applied mathematics. Their educational backgrounds combined with the viewpoint seen in their film indicates that they clearly have no
understanding of how international politics works or how Africans actually feel about the West or what development methods are actually effective. Making Kony famous isn’t going to establish stable government or alleviate poverty or eradicate hunger in Uganda. Bringing more attention to the cause may have made it harder to capture him because Kony knew US forces were trying to find him. Jason Russell is a self involved wannabe rock star. He described himself as a love child of Bono, Steven Spielberg and Oprah and named his children Gavin Danger and Everley Darling. Like who do you think you are buddy?
You actually support Invisible Children? Clearly, you’ve only seen the videos and know nothing else about them. Jason Russell has an annual “pro” income, which is all your teen dollars spent on ridiculous merchandise. I agree with the sentiment of the campaign, but nothing else. Not to mention this is ineffective advocacy.
Posted on — ReplyIf you think a “pro” income is 90k a year, you’re probably poor.
Posted on — Replyi know its not betchy to follow the news but the above commenter was clearly not so behind on the news that she thought we captured our own president…its called a typo
Posted on — ReplySo true!!! Actually, couldn’t bring myself to watch more than 5mins of this movie, because I got so apalled by this jason wannabe. Who cares how he or his son feels??? Talk about the real topic, not yourself!!
Posted on — ReplySo I read up on the movie instead and agree a lot with what you said, thanks for commenting!!
hAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH
Posted on — Replyhahaha jason russell got arrested for jacking off in his car….....so not betchy
Posted on — ReplyI can’t fucking deal with this right now. Helping children is great and all, but feeling the need to fucking proclaim about it on youtube is a joke.
